Abstract
The demand for processed organic food products is increasing. Customer preference for organic products mainly depends on the product, price, health benefits, sustainability, and environmental impact. Various health studies report the benefits of organic products as it is less toxic due to lower pesticide and high nutritional content. The research studies are very few to determine the overall impact of organic food products. Further government regulations and policies have been changed during the current times but it is not enough to meet the rising demand by consumers. Developing countries do not have a well-defined system like developed countries and the exploitation in the name of organic food products need strict regulations and policies. More 186funding by governments or institutions for research studies is the need of the hour.
