Abstract

One new citrinin derivative (1) and one new fatty acid (27) were isolated from the marine Penicillium citrinum W24, together with 29 known compounds. Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis. Compound 7 showed potent ferroptosis inhibitory activity with an EC50 value of 0.22 μM.
