Abstract

Employing the ‘push-pull’ effect by incorporating donor-acceptor moieties across alkynes achieves highly sensitive Raman sensors. Activity-based alkyne-tag Raman sensors, ABATaRs, enable Raman imaging of bio-analytes at low sensor concentrations and the first multiplexed ‘logic-gate’ imaging of metal ions and reactive oxygen species, on a spontaneous Raman microscopy platform in live cells. More in the Research Article (e22980), Ankona Datta and co-workers.
