Abstract

A magnifying glass symbolizes the structural insights gained through X-ray diffraction and operando X-ray absorption spectroscopy, enabling detailed understanding of the structural evolution and redox mechanisms of the multicomponent spinel during cycling. These complementary techniques reveal how the multidoping approach suppresses Jahn-Teller distortion, preserves structural integrity, and enhances the reversibility of the Mn(III)/Mn(IV) and Mn(II)/Mn(III) redox couples, leading to improved structural stability.
