Abstract

Anxiety and disruptive vocalizations in old people in care homes are common behavioral disorders that pose many challenges for caregivers. These symptoms, often linked to neurocognitive disorders, have a significant impact on the quality of life of residents and those around them. How can we understand these behaviors and what strategies can be put in place to effectively support them? This article reflects on the non-pharmacological approaches that should be prioritized and the importance of comprehensive, interdisciplinary care.
