The above article, published online on 12 April 2022 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the Journal Editor-in-Chief, Umberta Tinivella and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The retraction has been agreed due to unattributed overlap between this article and [1].

Several attempts by the journal to contact the authors have not resulted in a reply.

Geofluids emphasizes chemical, microbial, and physical aspects of subsurface fluids throughout the Earth’s crust. Geofluids spans studies of groundwater, terrestrial or submarine geothermal fluids, basinal brines, petroleum, metamorphic waters or magmatic fluids.
