Recent advances highlight the ecological selectivity and rapid biodegradation of these metabolites, making them attractive for sustainable crop protection. Innovative formulation techniques are enhancing their persistence and efficacy, yet challenges remain in understanding synergistic effects, nontarget impacts, and practical implementation.
