Abstract

In a test-negative case-control design among children aged 6 months-4 years (n=11,878) and 5-17 years (n=16,687) in Kaiser Permanente Southern California, BNT162b2 2024-2025 effectiveness against hospitalization/emergency department/urgent care/outpatient was 36% (95% CI: -5-61%) and 42% (-2-67%), respectively suggesting pediatric COVID-19 vaccination remains beneficial.
