Neonates exhibited significant growth retardation, the most pronounced viral replication and delayed viral clearance, and prolonged bronchiolitis-like lung injury. HI-RSV vaccination in old hamsters resulted in classic ERD, characterized by enhanced lung pathology, eosinophil infiltration, and mucus overproduction. Abstract
