Based on personal experience, this article explores the reality of adoption, as seen through the eyes of both a child born anonymously and a future mother. It highlights identity formation, adoptive bonds, and the challenges faced by both children and parents. It emphasizes the need for psychological support, public policy reform, and greater consideration of origins. Adoption is described as a two-way street where everyone learns to adopt each other.
