Abstract

Breast cryoablation is a minimally invasive procedure that has demonstrated feasibility, tolerability, and effectiveness in eradicating small breast cancers. The integration of multimodal imaging systems is crucial for optimal patient selection, precise tumor targeting, and complete tumor eradication. Expanding the use of cryoablation to larger tumors may be feasible by leveraging established ablation techniques, such as ablation margin confirmation and post-ablation biopsy.
