Abstract

The Front Cover shows how the electrochemical performance of magnesium negative electrodes was boosted without spoiling the favorable compatibility against positive electrodes by integrating a certain multidentate linear oligoether into the conventional ethereal electrolyte solutions. The combined electrochemical and spectroscopic analyses revealed changes in the coordination environments of Mg2+ in solution to be responsible for the enhanced interfacial charge-transfer kinetics.
