Abstract

In this paper, a V2GeC saturable absorber (SA) is prepared and used to modulate a Tm:YAP laser. In continuous wave (CW) mode, an output power of 2.48 W at 1940.5 nm was achieved with a 15.39 W pump power, corresponding to an optical–optical conversion efficiency of 16.1%.
