The isothiosemicarbazone ligands were characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy. All coordination compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and molar conductivity measurements of their 1 mM solutions in methanol. Furthermore, the crystal structures of the complexes [Ni(HL<sup>1</sup>)<sub>2</sub>](NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>, [Ni(HL<sup>2</sup>)<sub>2</sub>](NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>∙2H<sub>2</sub>O, [Ni(HL<sup>1</sup>)<sub>2</sub>](I)<sub>2</sub> were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SC-XRD). The investigated complexes exhibited antibacterial, antifungal, and antiradical activity against ABTS<sup>•+</sup> cation radicals. Abstract

Eight novel coordination compounds of nickel(II), cobalt(III), and iron(III) with 4,S-diallylisothiosemicarbazones of 2-formylpyridine (HL1) and 2-acetylpyridine (HL2) were synthesized: [Ni(HL1)2](NO3)2, [Ni(HL2)2](NO3)2∙2H2O, [Ni(HL1)2](I)2, [Co(L1)2]I, [Co(L2)2]I, [Fe(L1)2]NO3, [Fe(L1)2]Br, [Fe(L2)2]NO3. The isothiosemicarbazone ligands were characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy.
