Abstract
A visible-light-induced cascade radical cyclization process of N-methacryloyl-2-phenyl indolo/benzimidazole has been established with glycosyl NHP esters. This protocol provides an efficient and practical method for the synthesis of glycosyl-substituted indolo/benzimidazo[2,1-a]isoquinoline in outstanding yields, mild reaction conditions and broad substrate scope.
