Omental Cystic Lymphangioma as a Rare Abdominal Tumor: A Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract

We report the case of a 30-year-old man who experienced intermittent abdominal pain for 1.5 years. He presented with worsening pain during defecation and bladder filling. A CT scan revealed a large abdominal cystic lesion, along with smaller cysts in the pelvis. Surgical resection of the cystic lesions was performed via laparotomy, which also included an appendectomy and omentectomy. Histopathological analysis confirmed the diagnosis of cystic lymphangiomas.
