The proportion of open-access articles was relatively low at 6.64%, whereas the percentage of citable items was remarkably high at 99.76%.Conclusions: Although currently in the third quartile, the journal shows a positive trend in its impact factor ranking over recent years. Increasing open-access publications and promoting editorials and letters could enhance its citation potential and bibliometric visibility. Abstract
