Abstract

A method for tritium determination in air precipitation via electrolytic enrichment and liquid scintillation counting (LSC) was developed at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN). Tritium activity was measured using a Tri-Carb 5110TR counter at the University of Silesia. Calibration was performed with tritiated water (142 Bq/g, June 11, 2019). Additionally, three water samples from Almera 2023 and ICHTJ 2023 were analyzed. The method was validated based on these interlaboratory tests.
