Abstract
This paper aims to establish the nonlocal poro-thermoelasticity model based on Guyer and Krumhansl heat conduction law, of which the new constitutive and governing equations are strictly derived with the aid of the extended irreversible thermodynamics. For numerical example, the newly proposed model is applied to analysis and study the transient responses of temperature-dependent metallic sandwich-like porous laminated composites subjected to non-Gaussian laser ablation with plasma plume absorption mechanisms via the semi-analytical technique based on Kirchhoff transformation and Laplace transformation. The dimensionless results revealing that: (i) the consideration of the nonlocal effect predicted the less thermal stress and deformation; (ii) the laser/absorption parameters of the plasma plume can significantly influence the structural responses by changing the actual energy density absorbed by the surface; (iii) the shielding effect about the absorption mechanisms of plasma plume is: inverse bremsstrahlung (IB) > photo-ionization (PI).
期刊介绍:
Since 1965, the international journal Acta Mechanica has been among the leading journals in the field of theoretical and applied mechanics. In addition to the classical fields such as elasticity, plasticity, vibrations, rigid body dynamics, hydrodynamics, and gasdynamics, it also gives special attention to recently developed areas such as non-Newtonian fluid dynamics, micro/nano mechanics, smart materials and structures, and issues at the interface of mechanics and materials. The journal further publishes papers in such related fields as rheology, thermodynamics, and electromagnetic interactions with fluids and solids. In addition, articles in applied mathematics dealing with significant mechanics problems are also welcome.
