Abstract

Characterizing both the radial (p) and azimuthal (ℓ) indices of Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) beams remains a challenge mainly due to their transverse amplitude profiles. We report a simple yet robust method for simultaneously identifying both mode indices using an off-axis parabolic mirror (OPM).
