Abstract
The results of research showing the possibility of using aluminosilicates of man-made origin as mineral additives for concrete are presented. Processes of interaction of active mineral additives (dehydrated diatomite, Novosil active mineral additive) with Ca(OH)2 have been investigated. The influence of additives on strength and physicochemical properties of cement stone has been estimated. It is shown that the components of the above additives are involved in the processes of cement hydration, which leads to the absorption of calcium hydroxide and the formation of a new phase in the form of calcium hydrosilicates.
