Abstract

We present a preliminary study of the cleaning of artificially tarnished silver mock-ups with several greener materials, including sodium glycinate, ethylenediamine-N,N’-disuccinic acid (EDDS), saponin, and deep eutectic solvents (DESs), in comparison to a commercial silver polish product.
