Abstract

A photoinduced cascade difluoroalkylation/cyclization reaction of arylethynyl quinazolin-4(3H)-ones with ethyl iododifluoroacetates or iododifluoramides has been developed. This transformation enables the construction of difluoroalkylated quinolino[2,1-b]quinazoline derivatives via consecutive intramolecular dual cyclization processes. It features mild reaction conditions, a broad substrate scope and moderate to good yields.
