Abstract
The tribological properties of a carbon–carbon composite material and radiation-modified fluoroplastic have been studied under dry and boundary friction in an oil environment at room temperature and 90°C. The experiments are carried out under conditions typical of the operation of an axial-piston pump in hydraulic drive systems of construction machines. The assumption about the effectiveness of using a carbon–carbon composite material to increase the reliability and service life of the axial-piston pump is substantiated.
