Abstract
Fe-doped CdTiO3 powders were synthesized using the sol–gel method with new precursors and titanium tetraisopropoxide. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), which confirmed that all samples exhibited the ilmenite structure, along with secondary traces of TiO2 and CdO phases. The ratios of these secondary phases varied with different Fe concentrations. The effects of iron substitution on the ferroelectric properties of Fe-doped CdTiO3 ilmenite samples were studied through dielectric and magnetic measurements. Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) measurements indicated significant changes in the magnetic properties of Fe-doped CdTiO3 ilmenite, revealing that both the coercive field (HC) and remanent magnetization (MR) decreased with increasing Fe concentration.
