Abstract
Breast angiosarcoma is a very rare neoplasm, accounting for 0.04% of all primary malignant breast tumors. However, in patients who have previously undergone radiotherapy, its incidence increases to 0.16–0.3%. Early diagnosis is challenging due to its wide range of clinical presentations. It is crucial to maintain a high index of suspicion in previously irradiated breasts to enable prompt treatment. Currently, aggressive surgical intervention is the most effective therapeutic approach. Nonetheless, despite surgery, the recurrence rate remains high, contributing to a poor prognosis.
