Abstract

This review provides a comprehensive overview of the advancements made in radiolabeled tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) for imaging and treatment of lung cancer from the past few years. Specific topics include: the mechanism and the history of TKIs, fundamentals of PET/ SPECT imaging, and the techniques as well as the preclinical studies of radioisotope labelling TKIs. The main purpose of this review is to provide the basis for the safety and viability of using radiolabeled TKIs in clinical practice with PET/SPECT.
