Abstract
Vibratory ball milling reduces the particle size of a polyallylamine, poly(sodium phosphate) containing polyelectrolyte complex (PEC) by an order of magnitude for use as a flame-retardant additive in a polymer emulsion to achieve self-extinguishing behavior and a V-0 rating with UL 94 flame testing.
