Abstract
Restoration of the esthetic neck contour is a central goal in facial rejuvenation, requiring detailed knowledge of the submental anatomy. High-frequency ultrasound has emerged as a valuable tool, enabling the precise visualization of glands, muscles, fat compartments, and vascular structures. This article presents a standardized protocol based on literature review and clinical experience to optimize ultrasound evaluation of the cervical region. By facilitating the identification of anatomical variations and supporting communication between radiologists and surgeons, this protocol enhances preoperative planning and contributes to the development of safer, more individualized strategies for neck rejuvenation procedures.
