Abstract

The components and parameters of the surface tension of two surfactants of the Kolliphor type (ELP and RH40) and berberine (BBR), the size of the molecules, the contactable area, the adsorption at the solution-air interface, micellization as well as adsorption and micellization thermodynamic parameters were discussed taking the literature data into account. The effects of both surfactants, surfactant+berberine as well as two surfactants+berberine mixtures on the adsorption at the solution-air interface, micellization and thermodynamic parameters were considered.
