Abstract
In this study, the pH- and temperature-dependent absorption and emission properties of T-705 and T-1105 were systematically explored. The results suggest that T-705 holds significant promise as a luminescent sensor capable of detecting acidic environments and enabling measurements within a specific pH range. Meanwhile, T-1105 exhibits spectral features that appear largely insensitive to pH variations under the conditions studied. Both compounds display notable luminescence responses to temperature fluctuations, with sensitivities that compare favorably to those for reported luminescent thermosensing systems. Importantly, the observed stability of T-1105 across diverse pH conditions indicates potential for temperature sensing applications in complex environments. These findings underscore the versatile photophysical behavior of the studied compounds and open perspectives for their further development in multifunctional sensing technologies.
期刊介绍:
Russian Journal of General Chemistry is a journal that covers many problems that are of general interest to the whole community of chemists. The journal is the successor to Russia’s first chemical journal, Zhurnal Russkogo Khimicheskogo Obshchestva (Journal of the Russian Chemical Society ) founded in 1869 to cover all aspects of chemistry. Now the journal is focused on the interdisciplinary areas of chemistry (organometallics, organometalloids, organoinorganic complexes, mechanochemistry, nanochemistry, etc.), new achievements and long-term results in the field. The journal publishes reviews, current scientific papers, letters to the editor, and discussion papers.
