First, it introduces ColorQUICCI, an extension of the QUICCI descriptor that integrates color information, as well as a distance function that balances color and shape information when comparing pairs of such descriptors. Results demonstrate that ColorQUICCI is advantageous when the overall accuracy and efficiency are considered. Second, it presents ColorShapeBench, an extension of ShapeBench for the large-scale evaluation of descriptors that include color information. Abstract
