Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the benefits and harms of pharmacological treatments given prophylactically or on-demand after onset of opioid-induced nausea and vomiting (OINV) in people being treated for cancer pain or cancer dyspnoea, when compared to placebo or other pharmacological interventions.
