The structural elucidation of these compounds was predominantly achieved through one-dimensional and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, complemented by X-ray crystallographic analysis employing molybdenum Kα radiation, and with further validation through comparison with the existing literature. Abstract
The phytochemical analysis of the root components of Securidaca longipedunculata resulted in the identification of four previously unreported xanthones, designated as olasecuthones A-D (1–4), alongside sixteen previously known compounds (5–20).
