Abstract
The application of nanobubble technology in many sectors, covering water treatment, blood flow visualization, and drug delivery had drawn great attention nowadays. Being eco-benign and comfort of generation and use, the nanobubble technology is superior to conventional processes that use biological or chemical elements. However, there is still much to learn about the processes of nanobubble applications. One of the key difficulties for a deeper knowledge of the technology is the characterization and use of nanobubbles (NBs) for energy harvesting applications. In addition to current particle characterization methods, particularly that can be used to describe nanobubbles; this article also briefly discusses few of their potential uses. The novelty of the review article is to create consciousness among heat transfer scientists that nanobubbles technology is a new era in the energy sector.
期刊介绍:
ChERD aims to be the principal international journal for publication of high quality, original papers in chemical engineering.
Papers showing how research results can be used in chemical engineering design, and accounts of experimental or theoretical research work bringing new perspectives to established principles, highlighting unsolved problems or indicating directions for future research, are particularly welcome. Contributions that deal with new developments in plant or processes and that can be given quantitative expression are encouraged. The journal is especially interested in papers that extend the boundaries of traditional chemical engineering.
