Abstract

Cardiogenic shock (CS) complicating acute myocardial infarction (AMI) remains a critical clinical challenge associated with high morbidity and mortality. Temporary mechanical circulatory support (tMCS) devices can stabilize hemodynamics, improve cardiac output, and enhance survival, thereby continuing to be more favorable with operators.
