Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: The primary objective is to examine the efficacy of botulinum toxin therapy in the treatment of provoked vestibulodynia (PVD) compared with placebo or no treatment. The secondary objectives are to investigate the dose effect of botulinum toxin and the complication rates associated with botulinum toxin.
