Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the benefits and harms of surgical or radiological intervention in addition to broad-spectrum intravenous antibiotics, compared to broad-spectrum antibiotics alone, for the treatment of radiologically proven tubo-ovarian abscesses in non-pregnant adults.
