Abstract

In this paper, a novel design of a conformal circularly polarized (CP) antenna tailored for blood glucose monitoring within the 2.45 GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) frequency band is presented, with particular emphasis on scenarios involving deep implantation. The antenna is integrated with the exterior surface of a 3D-printed hemispherical cap, configuring a conformal helical antenna structure. An extension line incorporated at the helix's base facilitates the attainment of an impressively broad and stable CP bandwidth of 46.75%.
