Abstract

Currently, the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems is preparing the launch of LINAC-200, a linear electron accelerator. This accelerator will allow conducting methodological studies of the elementary particle detectors under development at the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems and other laboratories on test electron beams with energies from 20 to 200 MeV in a wide range of beam intensities. The accelerator uses high-frequency traveling-wave monitors providing beam positioning with an accuracy of up to 0.1 mm, which reduces beam losses in the accelerating path and simplifies the accelerator adjustment. Calibration is necessary to ensure this accuracy. The methodology and results of sensor calibration are presented.
