The average distance from the implant head to the floor of the maxillary sinus was 4.98 mm (3.058 right) and 4.41 mm (3.55 left), <i>p</i>-value 0.587. Regarding the pterygoid anatomical radiographic prediction (PARP classification), the most common was type 1, in 19 analyses, followed by type 4 in 7 analyses.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Pterygoid implants can be a safe and effective alternative for the rehabilitation of atrophic jaws. Abstract
