The mold has a complex periodic architecture, and was produced by additive manufacturing that applies fused deposition modelling, then a ceramic slurry was infiltrated into its cavity by centrifugation. This approach enables fabrication of geometrically-elaborate ceramic shapes such as gyroid by using low-cost and accessible equipment. The resulting gyroid filter had good mechanical integrity and good ability to capture gaseous cesium. Abstract
