Silent Invader: A Rare Right Ventricular Lipoma Resolved With Multimodal Imaging

Abstract

A 36-year-old female with bilateral thyroid cancer was incidentally found to have a 5.6×4.3 cm right ventricular (RV) mass, confirmed by TTE and cardiac CT as a fat-density lesion. Multimodal imaging, including Myocardial contrast echocardiography (MCE), CT, and CMR, helped diagnose the mass as a cardiac lipoma and guided surgical planning, which successfully removed the tumor and restored RV dimensions. This case highlights the critical role of multimodal imaging in diagnosing and managing rare cardiac tumors.
