Abstract
Moving from the properties of solutions of semilinear Dirichlet problems with strong singular terms, we wonder which kind of nonlocal term should be allowed in the presence of a strong singularity. The existence of a solution is obtained via approximation techniques. Uniqueness is also discussed.
