Causal correlation between gut microbiota and stable angina pectoris: a two-sample Mendelian randomisation study.

For every unit increase in <i>Ruminococcus</i> 2, the relative risk of SAP increased by 22.3% (<i>p</i> = 4.55E - 04, Bonferroni <i>p</i> = 6.82E - 03). <i>Firmicutes</i>, <i>Odoribacter</i>, <i>Actinomyces</i>, <i>Veillonellaceae</i>, <i>Eisenbergiella</i>, and <i>Ruminococcus gauvreauii</i> groups may be positively related to the risk of SAP, while <i>Proteobacteria</i>, <i>Methanobacteriaceae</i>, <i>Euryarchaeota</i>, <i>Verrucomicrobia</i>, <i>Ruminiclostridium</i> 9, and <i>Anaerofilum</i> may be negatively associated with the risk of SAP. Nonetheless, the specific role of SNPs gene enrichment analysis results needs further investigation.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>The findings of this study suggest a causal relationship between GM and SAP. Abstract
