Abstract

A new dipeptide compound, namely N-[(Phenylmethoxy) carbonyl]-L-m-tyrosyl-L-proline methyl ester (1), along with six identified nature products were separated from the entomogenous fungus Metapochonia suchlasporia Y9. 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic data, MS spectroscopic data as well as HRESIMS data were used to elucidate the chemical structures of these compounds. For the new dipeptide 1, electronic circular dichroism (ECD) data and specific rotation were used to confirm its absolute configuration. In the tests of antibacterial and antifungal activities, all of the above seven compounds showed antibacterial activities with different degree while none of them showed antifungal activity at the dose of 50 ug.
