The nanocluster <b>1a</b> was isolated using Y(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>3</sub>.6H<sub>2</sub>O and trilacunary sodium salt of lone pair containing (AsW<sub>9</sub>O<sub>33</sub>) in 1 M sodium acetate buffer solution with pH = 4.7. The polyanion <b>1a</b> was characterized with different analytical techniques such as single crystal X-ray diffraction (SC-XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. Abstract
A novel hexameric yttrium containing arsenotungstate nano-cluster having formula Cs5Na23[AsCOH{Y2W4O10(H2O)5-(AsW9O33)3}2].43H2O (1a) has been successfully synthesized by a one-pot reaction under mild conditions.
