Children from the phonological decoding group obtained significantly lower scores for RAN objects than children from the lexical processing group, but the scores of the two groups were equivalent for the other RAN matrices. Abstract
While rapid automatized naming (RAN) is recognized as a predictor of reading, it is unclear whether RAN is related to a particular reading route.
