Abstract
We reported an electrochemical method for the generation of N-thiocyanato sulfoximines from sulfoximines and ammonium thiocyanate. With NH4I as the mediator and electrolyte, the presynthesis of N-Br sulfoximines were avoided. Moreover, this sustainable approach can be applied in the synthesis of N-trifluoromethylthio sulfoximines by varying sulfoximines in one pot.
