Abstract

Dans cette revue, nous faisons le point sur les essais cliniques publiés évaluant un traitement néoadjuvant par imatinib pour tumeurs stromales gastro-intestinales localement avancées. Nous illustrons la pratique au travers une vignette clinique, permettant de souligner des suggestions pratiques.

In this review we summarised published clinical trials evaluating neoadjuvant treatment with imatinib for locally advanced gastro-intestinal stromal tumours. We illustrate the practice through a clinical vignette, allowing us to highlight practical suggestions.
